We are a service set up to market your company online. By signing up for this service, you agree that the domain name, web site, web copy, and anything related to the web site is owned by us, but is used to market your business. The domain name and web site design in particular is the exclusive property of London Ontario Web Design, and is only transferable at our discretion.

If you choose to cancel your monthly hosting account, we reserve the right to do whatever we want with your web site and web marketing package. We may choose to transfer the site to you, delete the web site from the internet, continue to keep the web site online at no cost to you, change the content of the site, keep your website online and change it to an ad supported web site, or many other things. By signing up for this service, you acknowledge that you understand this.

Please note we will not do anything to intentionally misrepresent your business if you cancel this service and your web site is kept live on the internet. The purpose of having the last two paragraphs in our terms of service is to ensure people don’t take advantage of our services and the upfront costs we incur hoping to obtain long term clients.

In the case you want to register the domain name under your own name, use the web design we created, and transfer your web site to a new hosting provider, there will be a one time fee of $415.00 CAD which is the actual cost to design/create your custom web site + the cost of your domain name.

Your basic web site service comes with 1 free edit per calendar year. This means if you want to add a page, change the information on some pages, add some photos, etc. we will do this for you once per calendar year for free. For any additional changes required, fees will apply.

Note: The Ad Support Option Is Currently Not Offered. You May ignore the paragraph below unless we make an exception and set you up for this option. For our ad supported option, we reserve the right to place up to 7 (seven) small text link advertisements at the bottom of your page in a manor that will not intrude with the usability of the web site, and that will not otherwise intentionally distract a user from the actual content of the page. We may also place Google Adsense advertisements (A service Google offers to place relevant ads on web pages). Again, while the ads will be noticeable, they will not interfere with the usability of the web site. If you have questions about these advertisements, please let us know before you sign up for the service, as these ads are part of the terms of service. More General Terms The above information is the most important information you would want to be aware of… however we also have the following standard terms of service which you may want to review:

1. Your Web Site is provided to you by London Ontario Web Design. We register your domain name and host your web site with a third party company, who is known to be reliable and trustworthy. While we do our best to ensure no technical issues will come up, and will do our best to ensure any technical issues that occur are resolved as soon as possible, there is no guarantee that no technical issues will arise in regards to the functionality of your web site. This includes but is not limited to viruses, server issues, loss of data beyond our control, or any malicious attack on your web site or the hosting service provider’s web servers.
2. London Ontario Web Design, or anybody affiliated with us are not liable for any damages caused by the use of this site or your own web site. This includes, but is not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.
3. Our services can be used to promote ethical and legal services only. We reserve the right to refuse service to any company at any time for any reason, the most common being if you are promoting something unethical or illegal.
4. Customers of London Ontario Web Design must be of age to enter into a legal contact (18 in Ontario) or have a parent’s/guardians permission to subscribe to our services.
5. London Ontario Web Design reserves the right to cancel your online marketing package at any time by providing a refund for any unused services to the buyer. We can terminate the services provided at any time.
6. London Ontario Web Design reserves the right to modify, change, or rewrite any part of this policy. The terms and conditions are subject to change.
